Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This page explains what data the gisgraphics.be website collects, why, how long it is kept and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
Data controller
- Name: [À COMPLÉTER]
- Address: [À COMPLÉTER]
- E-mail: contact@gisgraphics.be
What data?
- “My request” form: name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), how you wish to receive your order (collection in Ath or postal delivery), postal address (for postal delivery only), message (optional), the items requested (product, size, quantity) and the language of the page.
- Contact form: name, e-mail address and message.
- Technical data: your IP address, to limit abuse of the forms (see “How long?”), and the hosting provider’s access logs.
No other data is collected: no customer account, no online payment, no visitor statistics.
What for?
- to answer your request: final price, any postage costs and payment terms;
- to prepare your order and hand it over or post it;
- to answer your message;
- to protect the forms against abuse (spam, mass sending).
Legal bases
- Order request: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Contact form: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Protection against abuse: the legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- If a sale takes place: legal accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Who receives it?
Your data is sent by e-mail to GiS Graphics only. For a request, a summary (without your message) is sent to the e-mail address you give; no copy is sent for a contact message. It passes through the servers of the hosting provider OVH (France, European Union), acting as a processor. For postal delivery, your name and address are given to the postal service. Your data is never sold, rented or used for advertising, and it does not leave the European Union.
How long?
- No database: requests and messages are only kept in the GiS Graphics mailbox, for as long as needed to handle and follow up your request. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time. If a sale takes place, accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.
- Anti-abuse counters: your IP address is stored hashed (made unreadable), with the time of sending, and deleted after 1 hour.
- Technical error log: if sending fails, a line is kept without your e-mail address and without the content of your request.
- Hosting provider: OVH keeps access logs (IP address, page requested, date) for a limited time, for the security of its service.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers, no audience measurement tools and no third-party services (fonts, maps, videos…): no data is passed to third parties during your visit.
The content of your request (products, sizes, quantities) is only stored in your browser (localStorage, key gis-demande), so that you can add to it during your visit. It is only sent when you submit the form. You can delete it by emptying your request or clearing this website’s data in your browser. This storage is strictly necessary for the service you ask for and does not require consent.
